Financial Assistance

Admission decisions are made without regard to financial need. A student must be accepted and offered enrollment to Grandview prior to receiving their financial aid decision. All applicants must complete the online financial assistance process through NAIS. Grandview’s school code is 1643. The financial aid application is not complete until the family’s W-2s and 1040s are received. Financial aid awards are distributed on a first come, first served basis.

Financial aid is monetary assistance to reduce educational costs for families on the basis of financial need. For more information about financial aid, please see the Family Guide to Financial Aid.

Please note that financial aid decisions are independent from the admission process and do not affect chances for admission. Grandview makes every effort to ensure the fair, equitable, and proper distribution of financial aid to families demonstrating need. All aid requests, financial information, and award amounts are confidential. Families are expected to keep the amount of their awards confidential.

A financial aid package comes directly from Grandview and can be subsidized by our Annual Fund and our Tuition Assistance Fund.

Many families mistakenly believe they do not qualify for financial aid. Financial need is defined as the difference between the educational expenses and the family’s ability to pay those expenses. Eligibility is based on many factors, so you should always investigate the possibility of receiving financial aid if you feel that you can not pay for all of the educational expenses yourself.

Our goal is to work with all families to make a Grandview education affordable.  We do our best to match every family with a beneficial financial aid package and tuition payment plan.

Another option is a tuition loan program. Tuition loan programs assist many families in making tuition payments more affordable by providing the funds upfront and spreading the payments over a longer period of time than tuition payment plans allow.

Many institutions offer tuition loans; here is an example:

Grandview  partners with School and Student Services (SSS) By NAIS in our financial aid process. To begin your financial aid application, you will complete SSS’s Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS). Completing the PFS online will save you time and money, and help us make our financial aid decisions more quickly. Once you complete the PFS, you will be asked to submit your most recent tax documents electronically to verify your information.

Our financial aid award packages are given on a rolling basis and awarded upon acceptance to Grandview Preparatory School. Once applications are complete and all required documents are submitted, it usually takes about two weeks for a decision to be made.  You will be notified directly of the award by our Office of Admission.
