2008-2009
Grandview Preparatory School is a PK – 12th grade day school
dedicated to promoting a curriculum with a global vision. We pride
ourselves on promoting cross-cultural interaction and seek a diverse
student body with an international flavor. In order to promote this
“global vision,” the school encourages applications
from international students interested in studying for a year or
longer at Grandview. Unlike a boarding school, our international
program is unique. Our students live with Grandview families in
a “home stay” environment. The students are cared for
by host families instead of dorm parents.
Our international
students live in brand new school owned town homes located in Boca
Raton one block from the Grandview campus. The enclave has state
of the art facilities including a clubhouse, fitness center, and
swimming pool. The location is ideal. The town homes are one mile
from the beach and close to the town center mall and downtown Boca
Raton. The homes are within walking distance to the Florida Atlantic
University campus and adjacent to Florida Atlantic University’s
bike path.
The cost of
the program is $30,420. This includes $14,435 base tuition, $1,985
in fees (books, student activities, cafeteria), and $14,000 in living
expenses, (food, electricity, water, and cable television). Students
are welcome to stay with their host families through Thanksgiving,
winter vacation and spring break at no additional charge. For more
information, please contact Joe Collins in the Admission Office
at (561) 416-9737 Ext. 311.
