August 12, 2015
Thanks to a $1 million commitment from JP Capital Management’s principal, James Pastore, and his family, Grandview Preparatory School in Boca Raton will continue be able to advance its founding vision: to provide an innovative and customized education to its students.
With the generous commitment and resulting partnership with Pastore, Grandview will enhance academic and extracurricular programming, focusing on creating pinnacle experiences of excellence for its students and expanding its educational reach to offer elements of Grandview education internationally.
Grandview Preparatory School students will also reap the benefits of the use of two local state-of-the-art training facilities. The school’s commitment to passion-based and personalized programming that serves to inspire, motivate and support the passions of students is now expanding to off campus facilities that will enhance learning experiences and develop students’ skills, abilities, and talents.
Beginning in the 2015-2016 school year, Grandview students will have the opportunity to use the training facilities at Dancetown Boca and XPE Sports. Dancetown Boca is a 15,000 square foot facility, equipped with 4 oversized dance rooms with hardwood and marley floors. The building also includes a lounge and a smoothie bar, as well as a fitness training facility. XPE Sports is state-of-the art training facility with two major league sized batting cages, newly patented training equipment and a generous indoor field space. Students can utilize the facilities for dance and yoga classes, musical theatre rehearsals, physical education classes, and training for middle school and varsity athletics.
"Grandview’s passion-based and personalized approach to education fits in with Mr. Pastore’s true passion: helping children reach their dreams," said Grandview’s Head of School Jacqueline Westerfield. "Through his commitment, Mr. Pastore will help to ensure that a student’s passion serves as a catalyst for learning."
“We are very happy to be able to assist Grandview to expand educational opportunities for their students while fulfilling the promises and legacy set forth by the founders many years ago,” added Pastore. “It truly is an honor for me personally to play a role in helping GPS continue to provide a quality educational program based on high expectations.”
