Singer Lizzie Sider to Speak About Bullying Prevention at Grandview Preparatory School

January 29, 2018
By Grandview Communications

American singer and songwriter Lizzie Sider will be addressing a timely and important topic with the student body at Grandview Preparatory School on Wednesday, January 31: Bullying Prevention.

Sider was teased and ridiculed in early elementary school, excluded socially and was frequently made fun of. As a result, this Boca Raton native founded the bully prevention non-profit organization: Nobody Has The Power to Ruin Your Day.

In addition to being a successful recording artist, actress and dancer, Sider's recent song 'Butterfly' gained significant radio airplay and charted in the Top 40 on the Music Row Country Chart.

Advocating for positive causes is a cornerstone in Sider's life, both personally and professionally. She is a spokesperson for GWEN (Global Women's Empowerment Network) and PACER (National Bullying Prevention Center). Because she feels an immense connection to young children, she has performed at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House and the Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

We are very excited to welcome Ms. Sider to Grandview's campus to have her speak with our students!
