Grandview at a Glance
Founded: Grandview was founded in 1997 by Gene M. and Carolyn L. Ehlers to provide an engaging educational environment for students emphasizing strong values while using real world technologies.
Grade Levels: Grandview is an independent, non-sectarian, co-educational, college preparatory day school for students in Early Childhood (Age 3) - Grade12.
Campus location: The school sits on 9 acres, in a residential neighborhood less than a mile from the ocean and two miles from downtown Boca Raton, FL.
Admission: Students applying to Grandview are required to fill out an application, participate in an interview, and complete an academic assessment.
Faculty: More than 50% of the 34 faculty members hold advanced degrees.
Classroom Environment: The average class size is 12 students. The student teacher ratio is approximately 8:1.
Curriculum: Grandview’s college preparatory program offers Honors courses, an Innovation Program (IP) , and dual enrollment opportunities with Florida Atlantic University and Palm Beach State College.
Activities: A multitude of exciting activities for all grade levels are available including clubs, honor societies, student government, performing arts, and interscholastic athletics.
Community Service: All Grandview students participate in community service activities on a regular basis. Volunteer efforts include fundraisers, food drives, and community service projects.
