A Joyful Foundation

Lower School (grades K - 5) is a joyful stage in a child's life and one that requires nurturing, play, exploration, and structure. Our young learners are encouraged to ask questions and let their curiosity take them to new places of inquiry. Grandview's Pride Language Arts (PLA) program is Orton-Gillingham inspired and provides a strong foundation in reading, writing, and comprehension. Our Math program provides the foundational skills and strategies needed for more advanced mathematical concepts.

The 5 C's act as pillars for Grandview's emphasis on developing the skills needed for success in school and life beyond. Communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and character are fundamental to the learning experience at Grandview.
